• provide students of natural and engineering profiles with practical experience relevant to their studies improving thereby their professional development;
• offer employers well-qualified and motivated trainees; and
• encourage and promote understanding and goodwill amongst people of different races and creeds aiming thereby at cultural enrichment of trainees and their host communities.

Students at the Department of Mathematics, J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek, participate in local and international IAESTE activities.
